This 5.5" (140mm) Petty Knife is made from W2 high carbon steel and hardened using a differential heat treating method, and tempered to 61-63 HRC.
The handle is made from a small batch of absolutely gorgeous locally sourced Macadamia wood from San Diego. Macadamia wood has a very special and beautiful grain pattern that reveals many different facets in different lights.
The wood is highlighted with Royal Blue and Red G10 liners with matching Blue pins.
The wood is finished with an acrylic resin and polished to a mirror shine. An additional layer of hardened wax for additional grip along with providing protection during normal use and abuse.
