High Carbon Steel

Normal use of the knife in the kitchen will naturally start building it's Patina. The different forms of naturally occuring acids from vegetables and meats will start to add coloration to your knife to form it's own unique patina. This is a beautiful part of the maturing of your knife that many owners take great pride in building the character of the knife!

Knife Maintenance

Keeping your knife free of water and/or moisture is of great importance in order to keep your knife free of rust!

1. After use, wipe down the blade and handle with a dry cloth.
2. Wipe knives with mineral oil if the knife will not be in use for a longer duration (multiple days or more).
