I ground this particular knife to an extremely thin & fine edge. This knife will be perfectly suited for precision tasks such as vegetable prep and decorations. It will be very easy to sharpen, and it's edge will only strengthen with use & sharpening as it's edge slowly thickens. this will give it a particularly sharp edge for a long time to come!

The blade is made from 1080 high carbon steel - a perfect steel for it's high strength, great edge retaining and easy sharpening. The steel is tempered to 61-63 HRC hardness.
The handle is made of Zebra wood with complementing red G10 liners and pins that elevate the grains and colors in the wood.
An Instrument grade Tung oil finish and an final layer of hardened bees wax for additional grip and protection of the handle during normal day to day kitchen use.
